Niroshehaa was my Lamda teacher. She helped me achieve multiple distinction grades in Public Speaking, Acting and verse and prose up to grade 8. The lessons helped improve my confidence in all aspects of life and now thanks to her lessons, I became a lamda teacher and a junior examiner.
I had the privilege of attending Verse and Prose lessons with Niroshehaa teacher, who is an outstanding teacher. She has been a great inspiration to me, and her support has led me to pursue a career in teaching. With her guidance, my confidence and public speaking skills have significantly improved, which has been invaluable to me both academically and professionally. I feel incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity to learn from her.
I took part in the dance workshops Niroshehaa teacher conducted in 2015, 2016 and 2017. Over a 2 month period, we learned her choreographies to perform at the end of the workshop at a celebratory event at the local Sai centre. During the sessions, she spent time talking about injury prevention, movement practices to support our dancing and the historical, cultural and linguistic context behind the pieces we learned. I enjoyed taking part in these session as I was able to feel comfortable and felt like I could express myself. The sessions also allowed me to focus and concentrate on myself and improve my stamina. Nirosheaa teacher made her lessons fun and enjoyable which made it easier to take part. I enjoyed the workshop as it made me a better dancer.
